Hi

I am Ksenia Trefilova

I am a trauma therapist, founder, migrant, advisor, and dog owner.

My story

After 10 years in international business I went back to university and retrained as a therapist. I wanted to help myself—and help people figure things out. Life is messy and interesting, and I’ve learned that the same tools that heal an individual can also unblock a company.

I started as someone who moved countries and had to figure out who I was all over again. That experience taught me that our brains like familiar things, but sometimes the unfamiliar is exactly what we need.

As a therapist, I see how people get stuck in patterns that made sense once but don’t anymore. In business, I see how companies do the same thing. The solutions are surprisingly similar.

What I believe

People Try Their
Best

Even when behavior doesn’t make
sense, there’s usually a good
reason behind it.

Simple Usually
Works

The best solutions are usually the
ones that feel obvious once you
see them.

Context Matters

What works in one culture
or situation might not work
in another.

When I'm Not Working

I’m probably reading about consciousness, ancestral wisdom and love novels, walking in the woods, or having long conversations about why humans do the things they do with my dog. I think the best work comes from staying curious about life outside of work.

“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” — Carl Jung
