I am Ksenia Trefilova
I am a trauma therapist, co-founder, business psychologist, migrant, daughter, and dog owner.
My story
I didn’t start as a therapist.
For 17 years, I worked in international companies across different countries, in roles connected to logistics and business operations. I learned how systems function, how decisions are made, and how pressure shapes people. At some point, I became more interested in what happens inside a person than outside.
So I went back to university and trained as a psychologist. Since then, I’ve been working as a therapist.
My focus is trauma (existential and generational), addiction, emotional intelligence, life problems, relations, and deep inner processes. I’ve received grants for advanced training in Gestalt therapy, studied psychedelic integration at ICEERS, and completed training in supporting people leaving cults and high-control groups. I’ve also learned from international teachers across the Netherlands, Austria, and Russia.
My interest in technology led me to create PeopleWhoThink — a mobile app where, together with a small team, we translated the therapeutic method of bibliotherapy into a digital experience. The idea was simple and ambitious: helping people expand their emotional world through literature from different cultures.
The challenge was even bigger — to make the world read again.
Later, I joined the accelerator program at ESADE, where I met my co-founder. Together, we created and continue to develop a therapeutic tool for self-exploration through dreams that we called Ask Fritz!.
Today, I work as a therapist with individuals and teams, using a systemic approach to how people structure their lives — internally and externally.
I’m interested in depth, in truth, and in the moments where something real begins to move.

When I'm Not Working
I’m probably reading about consciousness, ancestral wisdom and love novels, walking in the woods, or having long conversations about why humans do the things they do with my dog. I think the best work comes from staying curious about life outside of work.
